Limoges Porcelain
Duquesnoy lives in a small village near Limoges, the city of the ceramics industry that produces half of the porcelain
in France. He said his is a village "of stone and wood", and
from there he grew to love trees, and combined that with his
chosen artwork casting porcelain. At the Benini Sculpture Ranch, he attached 100 ears to the tree and says his sculpture
will truly be realized when the tree grows to encompass the ears. |
